These URL might be helpful.

I've had a few dogs neutered. They were fine dogs, both before and after their neutering.
The only noticeable change was their inability to make puppies or develop testicular
cancer. I can live with that--and so can they. :-)

If you happen to have the exceptionally rare BT which possesses the genetic credentials
justifying reproduction, you might want to consider a litter of puppies from an equally
qualified female BT. Before any dog owner considers making more puppies, from anything
less than exceptional dogs, they need to examine how many of their respective breed are in
rescue groups, desperate for good home.

I checked to see if there are any Boston Terrier rescue groups. As expected there is an
abundance of them; which means there is an abundance of Boston Terriers needing a home.

When I count my blessings, I count my dog twice.

Actually, NO *BREED* is great, behavior wise. Individual vary in any
breed. I've known many lovely BT's and several horrid ones.

their own way.

Did you just get him? Are you wondering the difference between not
neutering him and neutering him? I find most male dogs get to focus
on what the owner wants, instead of what they want, more so after
neutering. Not to mention health benefits.
