Keep in mind that carrots are high in sugar. I don't know about dogs, but
in humans, sugar exacerbates inflammation and itching (steer clear of it
if you have allergies or something like poison ivy). Sugar is also
implicated in the development of yeast infections, so if Maui's ear
problems are yeast related, carrots might not be a good idea.
