Thanks for all the positive thoughts
This is what I don't have any more.

It was wadded up and adhered to everything in my stomach and strangling my
intestines. It's believed it was trying to heal my peritonitis, which is
why it started adhering to everything

It detects small holes in the intestines, and adheres acting like a bandaid
to seal the leaks. Seems surgeons use it for many things. Dad's (Danny) was
used on his stomach when they repaired his pyloric valve and removed most
of his stomach.

And because this is gone, I will forever succumb quickly if I have a
perforation of any kind. I've lost mynatural bandaid.

Wow, learn something every day. I'd heard of the omentum but had
never given it much thought.

How will this condition affect the care that you give him? How
will it affect his diet?

I'm so glad he pulled through!

Don't think of it as getting hot flashes.
Think of it as your inner child playing with matches.
