I just got a new min pin (she is 8 weeks old) and refuses to go potty on the grass outside. She won't use the wee wee pads, and hates the litter box. I have been reading a lot about the breed, and I see that positive reinforcement is the best. I have plenty of treats and I am home with her most of the day but I am seeing no improvement. Isn't now the best time to get her litter box trained? Does anyone have any suggestions? I am using the purina dog box and doggy litter, and I just read on a previous post that "yesterdays news" cat litter is better since it is smaller, so I am going to get some of that tomorrow. I am just not sure what to do with her. Please let me know of anything you may know that works.
