Even lightly loaded, the common advice for giardia seems to be
double the normal dose period. I hope the Flagyl/metronidazole
works for you (it provided only a temporary measure for Rocky
years ago).
Another option is Panacur.
Really interesting to see this. Annie's on 625 mgs of Flagyll (split into
two doses per day) for 7 days. I have never dealt with this in a dog
before, so I assumed this was the normal dosing procedure. Is it possible
that this won't take careof it? Damn, that would suck.
Did the Panacur ultimately do the trick for Rocky?
