Unhappy cut paw pad

about 2 weeks ago my dog got into a fight with my other dog the shepard sufferd a very bad biteto her paw pad. Iv'e put antibiotic creame on her and keep it bandaged it just doesn't seem to be healing. She walks on it now. Do you think it's getting better? Is there anything else I could do. I really can't afford to take her to the vets right now I ran into an unexpected money flow problem. can someone give me some advice? please
