You're right!

This pretty accurately describes the house we built for our dogs. I suppose
at 1200 sqft "large" might not reflect everyone's opinion.

My dogs have 2600+ sf - so there. No stinkin' heat pump either - FHA
and central air and TWO fireplaces to get cosy in front of. And 2
sofas that are JUST theirs, 3 more they're allowed to share with
humans, 5 dog beds, 2 Q beds they are allowed on, so I think cozy
would do it!

9 degrees and windy here this morning

9 degrees with windchill here this morning and the dogs were loving
it. Nut cases. My hands and ears just about frozed off!

Our deck isn't shaded however. If we were to continue living in this house,
that is one of the next things to consider.

Ours is shaded by an enormous (~70') maple tree. Not that the dogs
spend much time under it - they prefer their pool or the ac!
