Hi,
I adopted a 12 yr old Staffy 4 months ago. She hadn't been spayed, and so on the advice of my vet it was done on Friday. She's come through it fine and is already starting to revert to her usual gung ho antics. My concern is that this morning (Sunday) she has been in the garden at least 5 times for a wee and doesn't appear to do anything, inspite of squatting for about 30 seconds. I'm concerned she might be getting a urinary infection. Is there anything i should be doing to to ease the condition until i can speak to my vet tomorrow? She doesn't appear to be in any discomfort and is not licking herself, but as she is still a little subdued and moving tentatively from tyhe operation its a bit hard to tell. Sara |
