"Max" wrote in message ... I will appreciate if someone could explain me please how to detect a pancreas cancer in a dog. My parents in law just found out theri dog has that but it has been a big process. ........I really don't know. Sometimes these kinds of diagnoses are a process of elimination. They go with the most common assumption first, conduct tests to rule it out or verify it, then move on to the next. Depends on what the symptoms were I guess, how attentive the vet was, whether or not they used X-ray, ultrasound, etc. as part of diagnostic aid. Depending on how long the dog has had the cancer, there is no good outcome for pancreatic cancer. I know people only last a couple of months. My condolences to the dog's owners. It's tough to lose your buddy. buglady take out the dog before replying |
