I have printed and filled-out forms for to ILP Rudy with AKC, taken
appropriate pictures, etc. I'm ILP'ing him for future entries into hunt tests (I hope) and obedience trials (maybe). Now I need a name. I like to pick names that have something to do with his circumstances, and it doesn't necessarily have to relate to his "call" name. A few things about Rudy: He came from a puppy mill with "America's Pet Registry" pedigree with such lovely registed names as "Button UR Zipper Additude" and "Red Riding Hood Additude" as his parents - they go downhill from there. He went through 2 homes, and failure at a shelter He came here right before Christmas (hence "Rudy") If I had *planned* on keeping him, he would have gotten an obscure character name from "Peanuts", as a call name. He became "mine" on my birthday. I think I've gushed enough about him to give a hint of his personality, and he's quite handsome to boot. So - creative minds - help me! -- Janet Boss www.bestfriendsdogobedience.com |

It would also be a nod to having gotten him at Christmas time, as red letter days were originally holy days. -- Shelly (Warning: see label for details) http://www.cat-sidh.net (the Mother Ship) http://esther.cat-sidh.net (Letters to Esther) |

rec.pets.dogs.behavior: He came from a puppy mill with "America's Pet Registry" pedigree It's appropriate to include the kennel in to the registered name. I propose "America's Pet Registry Sux." -- --Matt. Rocky's a Dog. |

I think I may need to abbreviate - only 25 characters allowed and that goes over even before his name! How about "APR Sux......." -- Janet Boss www.bestfriendsdogobedience.com |
