It actually would have been a helpful answer (even to an old post) if only
because of the books referenced being archived in google for future
questions on that topic.

Of course, he really could have, and should have, left out the insane
drivel about "mongrel inbreeding" in America. Actually, I think he pretty
much insured no one would take his dog advice seriously by leaving that in.
