Default dogs shut in apartment for 2 months

Can you believe that? On Spanish news last night there was a report of
two dogs left locked in an apartment (Madrid?) for two months. They
survived because the neighbours pushed food through the door.

There was a clip of the police breaking down the door and the poor
things were just so happy to see humans - all tail wagging and body
quivering. GOK why it took two months for the police to be alerted. My
Spanish is not great but I think the owner is alive and well. Obviously
sick in the head and in need of a good hiding but breathing nonetheless.

I rescued a dog once where the owners had moved away and left a dog. This
poor thing clawed at windows and doors and the neighbor also fed her
until she took her,and kept her on the porch.

But only through his mouth.
