Hi,
We are in the market for a new puppy. We just lost our beloved dog of
16 years in December and are looking for a Labrador Retriever or
Golden Retriever breeder in the Northwest. Travel for us is not an
issue for the right breeder recommendation. The primary purpose of
our new dog would be to become a very spoiled and loved family
member. Beyond that, I'm interested in canine agility training and
potentially training the dog to do the dock jumping competitions but
for sure, lots of long walks, hikes and swims will be in order. Any
puppy we consider would definitely have to have proof that the hips,
elbows, eyes and heart are cleared of any genetic defect. We
definitely want to deal with a breeder that is interested in
furthering the breed and not performing backyard experiments for thier
children.

I can find a lot of breeders that seem reputable on the internet, but
a strong recommendation from someone that has purchased a puppy and
raised it would be VERY helpful.
