She looks to have some husky in her that would explain the markings on her
face that turn light almost white and the coat type seems very thick and
kinda kinky or wavy in the individual hairs. The jowls are kinda like
Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler). She is too fine boned to have rottie to
closs to her surface so I don't think that's in there. I don't think she has
shepherd, rottie, lab or any of those in there. Just my two cents.

My wife and I are in the process of adopting a dog from the local
animal shelter. I was hoping someone on here could help us to
determine what breeds she may be or a good place to go to ask. We will
definitely ask the vet once we get her but I am curious and anxious to
know others thoughts before we actually get to take her home (we have
to wait 3-5 days).
The sign on her pen said that she was a German Shepherd mix and the
print out when we placed a deposit said she was a lab mix (which I
don't really see at all). I don't know much about all the different
breeds but the more I look I think she might be part Rottweiler with
the black and brown spots over her eyes. What other breeds have that
distinct facial feature? She is a very small dog though, about 35
pounds, so I am guessing she has some other smaller breed in her.
Here is a picture of her: http://www.flickr.com/photos/fsamuels/441252573/
If this is the wrong place to ask about this, I'm sorry. Thanks for
the help!
