We feed our Greyhounds mixed dry feed and add a tin of sardines in oil
every day. I just realised that canned sardines are probably full of salt. I checked the back of the tin and there is salt in the ingredients. We don't like feeding them normal dog food as we don't trust what goes into it. I thought the sardines were perfect but now i'm worried about the effects the salt will have on them. Is there any safer tinned fish, with no salt? Or is normal canned dog meat ok to spice up the dry mix? |

Or get a can of jack mackerel and rinse it first. buglady take out the dog before replying |
