Default Essay on Dogs - Your Opinion wanted

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of writing an essay on dogs for school. Yes, school

Anyway, i wrote up a draft and i'd be interested in your opinion. Just
let me hear if you got anything to say about it. I'm very open to
constructive criticism, suggestions on additional topics, philosophical
point of views on the whole thing, in particular on the level of
consciousness of these animals and what we can learn from it about
human nature - or whatever pops into your mind really. Please leave out
typos for the moment and consider that english is not my
motherlanguage.

the document can be found under
http://docs.google.com/View?docid=dd9nn4z8_2f9m5sh i'll add you as
collaborator if you wish so you can edit straight into the document

Anything appreciated

Well, I haven't read very far into it, but I already have some
comments. Keep in mind, please, that I'm not a professional editor, or
even an expert. I simply have a good grasp of the English language and
its grammatical structure. With that being said, I would like you to
clarify in your own mind whether this is an essay, or elaborate notes
for a speech. It reads more like elaborate notes for a speech since it
begins as such. Please make sure you capatalize "I" when speaking in
first person. Please don't write slang such as "gonna." I admit, I
use this in my everyday speech, but when writing a paper for a grade,
it's pretty much a no-no. I'll try to continue to read it, but my
opinion, from a grammatical standpoint, is that it needs more work. As
far as content goes, I haven't had a dog in a few years, but it's
always fun to lurk in this forum.

Yes, I'm replying to my own message. I skimmed your message and
invariably failed to notice the part about typos. WIth that being
said, I apologize. Also, since it's hard for me to read for content
beyond the "typos," I wish you luck and hopefully someone here can
offer you the assistance you need. Good luck!

Hi, thanks for your time! Yes originally it was just notes for a
speech, then i turned it into a speech in essay form (reading out) but
now its just too much to fit into the given 4 minutes of talking i get

yes i got into the habit to just write down how it comes out and then
run over it with a spellchecker when its finished, so my writing flow
doesnt get caught up in how to spell things properly
cheers, fabian
