True. I had NEVER heard of shrinkage before that episode. That was a
genuine public service on Jerry's part.

Yes indeedy! Funny, too. The only funnier episode I can think of is the
"master of my domain" one.

It's a good look. I have a full length, thick polar fleece
robe. It is too hot to wear indoors, but perfect for
taking dogs out in cold weather!

That's a good idea. At least a couple of times I've had to rush
dogs outside in the middle of the night in -30C weather wearing
a little less.

I'm pretty lazy that way. When it is cold, I put them out and then stand
by the door waiting. Sometimes Sammie and Faith look at me like I am the
meanest person in the world. I should just let them pee and poop inside
so they can stay warm, too. But they can hear me tell them to go potty
through the door and know that as soon as it's done they can come back
in, so the training period went pretty quickly. Hey, they have fur and I
don't. Plus if they'd just learn to use the toilet, they wouldn't have
to go outside in the cold.

Actually, forget Cesar's way. If you could teach dogs to reliably go in
the toilet and flush after themselves, you could be the richest dog guru
in the world. I had a friend who taught her cat to go in the toilet with
some thing on it so the cat wouldn't fall in, but I've never seen a dog
do that.

I'm even more lazy. Sometimes Roxy lingers on the deck when it's rainy or
cold. She knows when I jiggle the door knob to get her butt off the deck
and GO POTTY. That way I don't have to open the door to tell her.

Last night was a good night with our
puppy. When I got home I laid down some ground rules for my husband in
regards to ALL the dogs. We spent lots of time with our older lab
giving her lots of TLC and also with the other dogs and puppy.

Any more updates? How are things going?

Would love for you to stop in and let us know.

Tara
