And also, colonoscopies would be especially easy in Paul's case. In
fact, they could do a brain scan at the same time.

I've had any number of brain CTs and MRIs and don't find them
bothersome, but I am not particularly claustrophobic. The total body
scans for thyroid cancer recurrance were bothersome at first - - the
scanner moves over your body a tiny bit at a time, and is only a
couple of inches above your body. It was a little freaky the first
time when it moved over my face, but I worked on relaxation and now I
come close to dozing off during scans of any kind. However, as I said
(listen up, Paul), I'm not really claustrophobic, so I can't compare
my experience with that of someone who is.

Of course, it also takes a bit of "toughness" and willingness to
face fears and deal with some unpleasantness, rather than making it all go
away by means of chemical magic.

That's actually not very accurately descriptive of phobias.

By the way, did you ever read an introductory psychology book, as
I suggested a while back? I can highly recommend David G. Myers'
textbook called "Psychology," 8th edition, pub. 2006.

Sure he did. Just like he takes all the good advice about dogs.

He's not getting a rise out of folks by blathering on about how well
Lucky and Muttley are doing, so he's trying to get attention by
insulting people on other subjects. And there's clearly no limit to
his ignorance.
