I think a few were lost...

I'm using my ISP's newsfeed right now, and it sucks ass. I'm only
getting a tiny trickle of posts in all my groups, even high traffic
ones, so I assume there's a problem, but I also assume it's on this
end. I'm going to have to switch back to the Berlin server if this
keeps up. And, by "this" I mean things like a slew of posts from
early January showing up last weekend. Not good.

Same here. It also seems that e-mail is suffering from the same news
service hiccups.

Multiple sends, multiple receives. Or people not getting what you
sent, and vice versa.

Weird ****.

Must be due to "global warming."

Heh.

Nah, it's Mercury in retrograde, or so one of my astro-enthusiast

The universal culprit in the late 1980s or so used to be
cosmic rays, flipping random bits on your disk. And for
some people that explanation works as well as any.

I just found a few fleas on a few dogs. In February. My
dogs rarely get fleas, and I'm appalled.
