I don't think that was really called for. It seems like a lot of people
have been very reactive and hostile lately. Maybe the change in the
weather?

It is a very real issue to make sure dogs are properly restrained in case
of accident or even evasive maneuvers. I have let Muttley (and Lucky) ride
in the front seat next to me, and there has been no problem, but they have
already wound up on the floor when I've had to brake suddenly. When I took
Muttley camping last June, I got a harness for him, and had the seat belt
buckled through it. It seemed secure enough, but he managed to get one of
the harness buckles loose as he moved around to get comfortable. So it's
important to check it often.

I'm glad your ramp improvements are working for you and your dog. Maybe you
can provide a new product with your ideas.
