Shelly said in part......
The large incision was because they had to look for the testicle

That is sure enough the truth, they were not even sure the other
testicle was in there (as it should have been removed) when he was
neutered, the first time around.....

Sounds like it was quite a roller coaster, with getting Jack neutered.
I'm glad he's home and doing ok.

Thank you Shelly, that means a lot. I am really appreciating Jack these
days. I could have lost him. I am so grateful my former Vet gave me
the heads up. I called the clinic that did this procedure today. My
intention was to find out why his penis was cut. The Vet and Tech that
did his surgery were not in, so I will be calling back tomorrow. I have
read so many web sites I think I could have done the surgery, and no
where does it mention cutting the penis. (unless he was born deformed).

When Harriet was spayed, the Vet nicked her bladder and at least he
mentioned that fact
_______________
Does Harriet have any long term bladder problems that you know of? I
hope she never does.

I feel so badly for Jack, he has been through it, and he is sucking up
the attention.
Jubal Early went to the Neuter Commuter (county) for 20.00 anyone can
get their dog spayed or neutered, a chip, and a rabies shot. It is
ironic to think I could have done 25 dogs for what it cost to do Jack.
I have read about the condition since he arrived. I was surprised to
read it is more common in pure bred dogs than mixed breeds.
(cryptorchid) Maybe Jack is a show dog

I think I will send a copy of the bill to the first Vet, indicating his
other testicle has been found. I am afraid I will "go off" if I
approach him by phone or in person.
