Jack had surgery (long)

Thank you Shelly, that means a lot. I am really appreciating Jack
these days. I could have lost him.
So he's a keeper, then? [insert smart-assed smiley here]
The Vet and Tech that did his surgery were not in, so I will
be calling back tomorrow.
Do let us know what you find out, because I'm curious.
Does Harriet have any long term bladder problems that you know of?
I hope she never does.
She had some short term problems with incontinence, but that cleared
up within a few weeks. Over the years, she's had random leaks, but
not frequent enough to warrant putting her on meds. I imagine that
time will come, though.
I feel so badly for Jack, he has been through it, and he is
sucking up the attention.
As well he should!
Jubal Early went to the Neuter Commuter (county) for 20.00 anyone
can get their dog spayed or neutered, a chip, and a rabies shot.
That's a good deal. We have a program (Pets Alive), mostly for low
income folks, but I guess anyone can use their services. Dog
spays/neuters are $55 and cats are $50, for both males and females.
They also do vax clinics, microchipping, HW testing, and sell flea
meds for slightly less than the local vets. It's not a bad deal, and
it provides vet care to animals that wouldn't otherwise get it.
It is ironic to think I could have done 25 dogs for what it cost
to do Jack.
Yeah, but you wouldn't want those 25 other dogs, would you?
I think I will send a copy of the bill to the first Vet,
indicating his other testicle has been found. I am afraid I will
"go off" if I approach him by phone or in person.
Now *that* sounds like something I'd do!
