While it is not the ideal response, I think that it can be a startle
response, and not sure just how serious it actually is, especially if it

a one time thing. Bunch of stressed out people, hustling around, can in
fact cause the dog to react in a manner that it otherwise would not, and I
would chalk it up to extraordinary circumstances (I would also make sure
that enough stranger introductions happened that it wouldn't be repeated,
ever). It seems to me that her response to strangers now is
appropriate,
especially if she is a Rottie mix.
