Hello!

I'm very new to the newsgroup world...and to this group as well.

I'm looking for others who currently own or have owned Great Danes.

I have a 7 month old male who has a tight grip on my heart and would like to know if his growth and other habits are "normal". He is the first Dane my vet has had and we are both doing a lot of research. Being in such a small town, I don't have the luxury of finding one who has experience.

If anyone has any info (besides the general stuff I typically find on the web)...I would appreciate a fellow Dane "parents" input.

female Mantle.

The best place I know of where you can find good, consolidated Dane info is
DOL (www.danesonline.com). Lots of excellent information to read and
absorb, if that's all you ever do.

Thanks for the website link. It has a lot of info that i think will be
helpful while i am taking care of my new puppy
