I finally
peeked
out to see what they had done. All the laundry was taken from the table,
and placed at the bedroom door. The food pans were all there. And
firewood from the fireplace had also been gifted in the mix. Tuck was
bleeding from his misadventure with the old beagle (I'm sure he earned
every bit of it)
And my sabbatical from the dogs was over and my day had begun,
willingly or not, my dogs drug me out into the day, and the world.
