I stopped at the local SPCA today and fell in love with the most adorable
friendly dog. She's a chocolate lab/giant snauzer mix. I'm not a big
snauzer fan but she's got my opinion changed of them completely. Oh my what
a little lady she is. Where the other dogs were barking in their kennels
she was just sitting ther quietly taking it all in and when you went up to
the cage she came over and puts her paws up for you to hold her paw.

I know the one dialysis nurse at the center where I go has been looking for
another dog since hers passed away and I was telling her about her. I'm
pretty sure I have her talked into going and seeing her tomorrow. She said
she'd stop by and see what she thought. I'm really hoping she decides to
get her she'd have a wonderful home with her. If she doesn't take her I'm
going to see if I can't talk Mike into getting another dog. Even for the
mix she is she's not very big I'm guessing somewhere about 45lbs is all.

Someday I will buy an RV and travel the country taking pictures of black
dogs for various animal rescue groups.
