Dog Help: Urinating in The House
For almost a week, I have been caring for my mom. It is an honor for
me, because it is something I had anticipated for many years. She has
this dog and I knew that I would be caring for her dog too. This I was
'mentally' ready for in every way, and even got a place with hard-wood
floors. Therefore there would be no chance of 'spoiled'
carpenting..... (when they would join me....). Much has been done to
prepare for this day (for her and her dog).....
I have lots of awareness and done lots of things....., etc etc etc
etc.... Trying to do my best....
The dog is becoming a huge problem, 'actually' saving 90-95% of her
urine for my floor... no joking. This tiny dog is 'literalllllly'
saturating my floor.... It is putting ALOT of stress on my mom, and
she is in bed 24-7 right now. She is totally incapable of getting into
her apt, and it would be unfair to leave the dog in 'her apt'......
All of this is making her already very bad health conditions worst. I
want to solve this problem, without hurting my mom....The dog simply
'doesn't want to behave', I have tried many things. (have learnt alot
about dog training, to some degree)
I am trying to walk the dog as much as I can, but it is impossible to
walk the dog every 2 hours (or less), 24-7, almost. It is impossible
to walk the dog for an 'entire' hour at a time, every 4-6 hours. I am
working FT and taking care of my mom FT..... My mom could walk the dog
3 times a day, for 15-30 minutes, only....
Sorry for the long message, and I am a new comer here...... Hope you
are having a nice day.
