On another note, the weather is looking good and unseasonably warm over
the next couple of weeks. Lucy turns 11 on 12/31. I need to find a
good place to take her to swim. Not easy around here in the winter,

I wonder what the health regulations would say about humans and dogs
sharing a warm-water, handicapped accessible facility?

Like, humans only on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays, and dogs (and
handlers) on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. And even if you had to
restrict it to one species or the other I have no doubt that it would be
hugely popular.

I can think of 20 people, right off the top of my head, who would love
to be able to swim themselves and/or their dogs in warm water.

And it should have crates w/ forced air dryers and wall mounted
blowdryers in front of lighted mirrors in the changing rooms so that you
and your dog(s) can stop off for a swim and go on your way looking
presentable, and without risking frostbite from wet hair...

I'd buy a membership to that country club in a heartbeat.
