I'm really sorry Lynne. We'll never know what the problem was with the pup
that did not survive. I did find this article, and thought it might be of

Thanks again, Suja. That's an interesting article and I will pass it
along.

The puppy who died and one other look very much like purebred Goldens at
this point, though they definitely are not as their mom is a mix. I
suspect their sire is a Golden, though. Whatever caused this, I am really
hopeful that the rest of the puppies will be okay and that this was just a
fluke. So far, none of them are showing any signs of problems, thank
goodness.
