Do new born Golden puppies show their color ? I am looking for a
"Red" Golden and not sure at what age the color of their coat can be
determined.

First - look at the parents and grandparents. Field lines are going to
have more red influence as well (and can you handle the energy level of
those?). Generally, ear color is a good indicator of future coat color.
Color is the least important feature in the scheme of things, but I
understand preference. An adult rescue dog, already red, may be just
the ticket!
