I purchased the new natural flea and tick treatment by Sentry- Natural
Defense, that goes on the same way as advantix. Has anyone ever tried it? Is it effective? IT IS Potent smelling. Bonnie |

Defense, that goes on the same way as advantix. Has anyone ever tried it? Is it effective? IT IS Potent smelling. While it may repel live fleas, it does not attack the full life cycle of a flea. As far as parasites go, I'd rather get rid of them altogether. We have seen animals, too, who have had skin reactions with it which have become infected. The scent can sometimes also cause issues with the pet. Some people like it. You'll just have to try it. Follow directions well and don't apply to other species. |

Fleas may not bite something that smells like garlic, but it doesn't kill them and certainly doesn't keep them away from the environment and looking for other hosts (like us). |

I would trust my vet for his opinion. frontline seems to be doing the trick for me. |
