Default Question on Natural Defense Flea Treatment

I purchased the new natural flea and tick treatment by Sentry- Natural
Defense, that goes on the same way as advantix. Has anyone ever tried it? Is
it effective? IT IS Potent smelling.

While it may repel live fleas, it does not attack the full life cycle of a
flea. As far as parasites go, I'd rather get rid of them altogether. We have
seen animals, too, who have had skin reactions with it which have become
infected. The scent can sometimes also cause issues with the pet.

Some people like it. You'll just have to try it. Follow directions well and
don't apply to other species.

not sure what that tx is , but my aunt gives her dog garlic to help
fleas.. no idea if that works. i work in vets so i likely to suggest
stronger prescribed treatments, as that will stop the flea cycle.

Garlic can be toxic to pets and cause anemia. Fleas may not bite something
that smells like garlic, but it doesn't kill them and certainly doesn't keep
them away from the environment and looking for other hosts (like us).

I would trust my vet for his opinion. frontline seems to be doing the
trick for me.
