His vet has recommended that we wait until he's 8 months old - of
which is is now 8 months and 2 days. We are going to call her on
Monday to see what's next. A Maltillion is a Maltie and Papillion
mix.

Thank you for explaning maltion. It would be clearer in the future to those
speaking dog to describe it as a Maltese x Pomeranian mixed breed in the
future rather than some obscure untuitive concoction. I thought you were
speaking of a DALMATIAN! Oh boy was I ever off. Who knew?

I think a vet inquiry and advisement is the best option too. keep us
posted.
