I've never been in your heartbroken shoes. *some breeds are not only more
susceptable.. but indeed.. very likely for your same dianosis. Cavalier
Spaniels come to mind, as a breed more likely to have said problems than
not.
I can't help you with this dog but please select your next dog from a
breeder whose sire and dam..for generations have certified clear of heart
problems
