Default collasped trachea

have 15lb lap dog 9 years old xray showed collasped trachea and enlarged
heart now taking turbuterol and lasix but is not stopping the coughing,
any ideas or similiar cases or treatments thanks

.........don't know much about collapsed trachea, but I was under the
impression the fix was surgical.
