I thought the same thing. The dog used to be in decent shape. From his
postings, it appears that Paul is in the "big bowl of food, left out,
and junk food treats" mode. Certainly not doing that do any favors.

Yep, some dogs just don't have an "off" switch on their
appetites. Muttley looks like of these. You can't just "free
feed" them; you have to measure out their meals to maintain their
optimal weight and remember that treat calories add up.
