Horrible, isn't it? There seems to be a segment of "breed only" people
who don't think that dogs need activity (or even training, for that
matter). And then there are people who think food is love.


I was glad the fat ones were quickly eliminated, sending the message that
overweight in a hunting/herding dog wasn't going to wash.

Even the Labs. I swear that the winning Lab on one of the dog "shows"
(Westminster, Eukanuba, Crufts?) in the past year on Animal Planet was
overweight.


If Muttley is a guard dog, perhaps Paul envisions Muttley as a bowling
ball. When I saw Muttley last year, I told Paul that there was a weight
problem. it's metasticised. Yet Paul is quick to berate overweight wpmen,
so I sense he's somewhat critical of the problem
