Thanks, everyone. I really appreciate the well-wishes. He did perk up by
Saturday, which was nice to see. I'm carting him around a lot so that he
doesn't jump up and down so much, and putting his food down first so that
he doesn't dance -- sad! but possibly what he was after all along...

I finally managed to record him doing his grumbling routine at passers-
by; if you go to my blog you can watch it. The sound quality is not the
best but you get the idea.
