He's kept 1/4 c of water down this morning, and a Pepcid, so that's a
plus. We can see the vet starting at 8:30, so we're off. Thanks for
all of the good thoughts.

He's there now and staying for awhile. Blood tests, probably barium
(they'll be taking new x-rays in general). He usually LOVES going to
the vet and was just there 2 weeks ago for his RV, but today it was
"what? you're leaving?!?!?!"

He's slightly dehydrated, so they'll put him on fluids, and that's a
good thing.

Meanwhile, I got a phone call that the pathology is back on Rudy's elbow
lump, and it's just a histiocytoma. One good thing!

Lucy has an appointment on Thursday for what looks to my
semi-trained-eye to be a basal cell tumor, on her ankle.

The Franklin diagnosis is sit and wait.

I think I'll just open my bank account on the vet's desk.

When writing monster checks for dog-related stuff I just
repeat "I love my dogs, I love my dogs, I love my dogs" and
that always helps take my mind off all those zeros.

Here's looking forward to good outcomes all around.

That's certainly one drawback to multiple animals. It's a darned
good thing they're cute!

Isn't it though? I've told the cats that they better stay healthy!

Good thing that unlike so many of the people who post to "health", I
actually plan for this stuff and make sure I have the finances to care
for my pets as needed.

I've tried that, and I'm sorry to say that it does not work. Alas,
I foresee more cat-related vet bills in my near future.

Even if you don't plan, begging money from strangers strikes me as
kind of gross. Or, it would if I didn't automatically assume that
such pleas are scams.
