Default Mood side effects with Ascriptin?

My 4-year-old Malamute keeps spraining her legs/ankles and I have her
on Ascriptin. She is also taking Proin for incontinence. I'm
wondering whether anyone has had experience with their dog becoming
more aggressive on either of these two meds? I know the Proin can
have an anxiety/nervousness side effect, but the hightened aggression
seems to have started with the Ascriptin. Thanks.

I have no idea. But it occurs to me that if she's in pain (and she
probably is, even with the Ascriptin), and the Proin is making her
anxious, those two things could result in heightened aggression.
Heck, the pain alone could be enough to make her grumpy.

What does the vet say?

I'm sure you are right. I haven't had a chance to talk to the vet yet
as I've just made the connection in the past couple of days. But dogs
that she used to get along fine with she is now very aggressive with.
At least she still gets along with her "brother" (our black
lab)...: )
