Default Dehydrated Food

I will have to get over being grossed out by liver then.

Here's an easy one: get some beef heart - it's firmer than
liver and slices easier when raw. Slice it. Lay it on the
off side of the barbeque and turn on the other side to its
lowest.

how about dehyrated beef heart?

I did both heart and liver for my pup. He loves them! I also bake
homemeade treat/bait cookies and after cutting them into tiny pieces, finish
drying them in the dehydrator. I stopped putting garlic in the cookie
batter. I couldn't take those garlicky puppy farts. Thin slices of
almost-cooked yam make great chips. Kiba gobbles them up just like the meat
snacks. I sliced a huge yam I didn't need at Thanksgiving into big wedges
to dehydrate for my daughter's new big dog, after cooking it a bit in the
microwave. Those took DAYS to dry. I have an idea in my head that cooked
veggies are easier to digest. No proof of that, just my idea.
