It was bad enough when he had to go out every hour or hour and a half,
but
it got ridiculous when he was in and out multiple times an hour, round
the
clock.
Oh wow. That must have been miserable for you (and not much fun for
him, either!).
I get really cranky on no sleep for 2 or 3 straight days. Makes me
wonder how I got through grad school, where during my worst week, I
slept a
total of 3 hours.
I dunno, but I'm with you. I get cranky as hell when I don't get enough
sleep. I managed it in college, but I'd rather not revisit those fun,
fun times. Ugh.
If you've changed anything recently, that'd be one.
I've been wracking my brane, and I can't think of anything. The thing
is, it doesn't even have to be something new. It can be something old
that she's suddenly developed a sensitivity to. And I'm wondering if
that might be the case. Her resitence might have been low after the
surgery and course of antibiotics, which might have led her to react to
something that she's never had a problem with. If so, tracking it down
will be next to impossible.
It has gotten colder,
and if heating is on, it can dry out the skin and cause problems as
well.
No heat! Heck, I had the AC on briefly last night, to cool off the
house before bed.
Neither dog is a fan of the vet. But, but are cooperative. Pan less
so
than Khan, but she'll do anything for a cookie, and I take the good
stuff
for the longer visits.
Well, there's that, at least! Cooperative is good, and being interested
in treats is *very* good. I have the former with Harriet, but not the
latter. When she's stressed, she takes the treat but spits it right
out. It's kind of embarrassing.
Unfortunately, Khan can't eat until after the vet
visit, so no food for either of them.
Poor boy. I hope he gets compensated after it's all over.
One of the reasons two is my limit with dogs. Primarily though,
experience
has taught me that when # of dogs # hands, life becomes complicated.
I always took the dogs separately, so the sticker shock was spread out
over two visits. On the other hand, then you get dinged for two office
visits, so I guess my approach wasn't as fiscally responsible.
