I have NO breed loyalty.

You have size loyalty! You go for those large, good-looking dogs.

I have no breed loyalty so far, although I can see myself in my older
years adopting rescued Poms... but don't tell Zoe I said that. It's even
possible that I would get a dog in a different color.

i love them very much. it's just different.

If I had my way, I think that I would only have boy dogs from now on. I
love my girldog, and many of the other girldogs I've known, but even the
most benign of them seem to have agendas, and I like my dogs to be pretty
transparent.

Boy dogs are so much easier. I honestly believe that with many of the
herding breeds that the bitches are smarter but harder to live with.

I think that's generally true. If I had only one dog (WTF???!??!)
I'd want a female, but a pack of boys would be a lot easier
than a mess of girls, I think.

I love boy dogs. Girl dogs tend to be so moody. Boys are just mooshes

I've had only girls. Sheppe was mooshy. Cubbe is reactive and
sensitive. Genny was a bit of both but mostly moosh.

I've had a lot of wonderful girls. Reka isn't too moody, but she does some
things on her own terms

That, they are. And, they turn into beautiful adults too. This is the
breeding that I found seriously tempting:

Heh, while I agree with your assessment, I'm thoroughly enjoying
my independent girl dog. She's keeping all the boys in this
house on their toes.

As we speak, I'm doing a study. I'll get back to you.

My very limited experience with dogs (two female, the rest male) tends
to bear this out.
