The gynocologist on staff looked at Gen, did an exam, and decided that her
uterus wasn't ready for the drip to induce contractions. She wasn't dilated
enough and her plug was still too thick. Thus, she got the cervidil (to
thin out the mucus plug) and gets to be observed for the afternoon. So she
kicked me out of the hospital and told me to go to work. Chances are good
that she will not be giving birth today.

Thanks for the update Marcel. Will continue to send the good thoughts, of
course, but at least I won't be on pins and needles here all day.
