Default Free to Good Home: One Used Boxer

I've been drawing pears for the past few days, and Harriet is *sure*
that she should have one. Last night, she poked the stupid pear I
was drawing with her nose, pushing it off the coffee table. Today, I
had a large box of watercolor pencils sitting on the couch next to
me, and she parked herself right on top of them. It turns out, 72
Pick-up is not a very fun game.

I forgot the pear on the coffee table, and just returned from
checking the mail to find it in the middle of the living room floor,
full of tooth marks.

Harriet had the good sense to scram when she heard me come back
inside, but since the cat DOES NOT HAVE TEETH, I think it's obvious
who the culprit is.

So, if anyone wants a slightly used Boxer with a pear fetish, please
to be letting me know.

consider it real life art.

I would prefer tooth marked art over non-toothmarked art. It is unique!

Didn't see the original post, but that pear appears to be in pretty
pristine shape after the encounter with the dog...

She didn't have long to unpristine it. Next time, I'm sure she will
have learned to work more quickly.

Actually, it reminds me of Elliott and his potato fetish. I'd
occasionally come home to a living room scattered with potatoes, each
with one set of little puncture marks in them.

If it's art, it'll be unique without the aid of tooth marks.

That's what you should be drawing. That pear, you see, has
character. I bet you won't find any old pear out there that looks
like that.

I sincerely hope so.

Good job, Ms. Brown!

Oh, I see, she was just trying to be *helpful*. Uh-huh. Riiiiiight.

I find myself agreeing with Harriet - pears are for eating, or
playing with even, but not for drawing.

New dog today: Kenzie, 2.5 year old, very in-shape Boxer girl
who, for some reason, Friday doesn't totally dislike.
