I put a dog bed in my office for Image, but Crow has been
using it and then Emmett took over. It was clearly time to
add another, which I did this weekend:

Can you add a third bed? The front legs need to have a bed under them.

No, no, dog beds are for the body from the neck back. Heads, at least
here, go on the floor. Talk about stupid.

Someone help me. Our ISP stopped carrying usenet groups. Can anyone
recommend a site that carries usenet groups that will allow to post?
DH set me up on freenet something-or-other, but all I can do is read -
can't post. I'd prefer something free or very low cost, obviously.

Here, too, unless the head is being used to claim ownership,
as it is in this case. Emmett is a lovely dog but can be
greedy greedy greedy.

Pan does that. You really have to wonder.

Last time our feed got wonky, I tried looking around for something free and
came to the conclusion that it wasn't worth the time or the effort.
news.individual.net - stable, carries lots of non-binary groups, and a good
bargain at 10 Euros/year (~15 dollars now).

Stupid dog?

Humans obviously don't know how hard it is to guard all the resources at
once.

Comfort dog!

We had a bed (folded throw + pillow) down in the living room for
Chile, our 16.5 year old arthritic chihuahua, and a pillow for
Oppie. Oppie decided that the pillow is not sufficient, and so
he has been muscling in on Chile's bed. One evening I looked up
from my reading to see her pawing at him, trying to get him to
move off her bed (to no effect), and so I kicked him off and
hauled out a folded throw for him. It's necessary to separate
the beds by a couple of feet, otherwise he pulls an Emmet and
tries to sprawl out on both of them.

Thanks. I was just about to look into that when DH got an email from
our ISP advising that they'd found a feed for newsgroups. And presto,
they're back. Yay.
