Yeah, and I did some poking around. The organization
actually refers to itself as AGSDR, which is the first big
clue that something's not right. But anyway, if you go to
the page to make a donation you'll see that there's
absolutely no evidence that it's actually associated with
AGSDR. If you go to the AGSDR web page, you'll find that
they did have a dog named Brooke who needed surgery three
years ago, and the dog has since recovered and been adopted.

Once I get the dogs fed and more caffeine into me I'm
sending the whole thing to the attorney general for my
state. You might want to do the same with yours.


I have not received the email, but the rescue has had two GSDs named Brooke
that found forever homes in 2006 and 2008. Their web page shows that they
go by both AGSR and AGSDR. Here is the list of forever-home dogs:
