You mean Medicaid. Medicare is for seniors.

The number of "working poor" in this country is increasing as employers no
longer can afford to, or will, provide health insurance. Once employed,
it's near impossible to qualify for Medicaid.

'Job' does not automatically equal family health insurance.

Yeah, that's what I meant.
Children can get CHIP, though. Adults are the ones who have to worry about
insurance.
There are not throngs of children dying in the US because of lack of
available health care.
