Snow Day

The dogs definitely don't want to stay inside during the
cold snaps, and the snow is a big bonus for them. When a
bunch of them are out together they all come in with snow on
their faces.
I miss Snow Face! Elliott would snowplow through it, which was
hugely entertaining. And then he would periodically just plop down
in a mound of snow, so that he completely disappeared under it.
Harriet just kind of bounces along on top (or tries to, anyway),
which is also entertaining, but not as much as watching dogs who
really *love* the snow.
Yoda loves the snow for about 2 minutes until he gets cold. Of course,
if we were kind enough to put his coat and booties on him before taking
him out he will play in the snow for about 15 minutes before getting
cold. I was a little worried after the last major snowfall when he
climbed up on top of an 8 foot snow pile from church next door plowing
their parking lot and he jumped off the near verticle drop into the
snow below.
