I was going to get Muttley some more marrow bones, but they were out of
them. However, I found a bag of beef hearts for $1.39/lb, which is not much
more than the bones, and appear to be 100% lean meat. I have tried cutting
them in small pieces, and also giving him the large strips. He loves them
either way, and can barely wait for me to tell him it's OK for him to go to
his bowl. He pulled them out and took them to his dog bed, where he quickly
devoured them and was looking for more.

Are there any precautions about giving him this raw meat? Also, there is
now a lot of blood in the bag, and I was wondering if it's OK to pour some
of it on his kibble.
