This newsgroup is here, and is active. 2. You don't have to sign up for this newsgroup. 3. Nobody spammed me at my home address to invite me to this newsgroup. -- --Matt. Rocky's a Dog. |

Certainly not me, i have put just two posts on this newsgroup about this forum and never emailed anyone personally about it. 1. This newsgroup is here, and is active. As is the new forum, a lot of subject get repeated in here unfortunatly due to a short life of the topics - all topics covered are easily available on a forum without having to access 'google' to see previous posts. 2. You don't have to sign up for this newsgroup. Nobody is forcing anyone to do anything they dont want to, its called choice. If you choose to join a troll-free environment discussing only pets you can, but also staying on an often troll laden newsgroup is also your choice. No-body is forcing you to sign up to this one, its not asking for complete address details just email, name and chosen password, email is then hidden from sight unless you are wanted (by another member) to be contacted, its also a members only type forum (I couldnt access it until I had signed up), everyone can see an email address on a newsgroup Laurie |

I have stated before...I didn't spam anyone...did you know that if you visit
a website, your e-mail and ip address can be recorded automatically...I don't know if something is set up by either the administration of that board or by the software it uses, but resorting to name calling and saying I have three anuses is quite childish and is also pointed in the wrong direction! This is how you get spam. Not always by somebody emailing you. I'm sorry you have got spam, but it isn't because of me. Please don't assume. Laurie "Melinda Shore" wrote in message ... Matt Hogg wrote: I have stated before...I didn't spam anyone You posted your advertisement here. This is a discussion forum, not an advertising venue. I did receive the same piece of spam that Matt posted here, however. ...did you know that if you visit a website, your e-mail and ip address can be recorded automatically... Your IP address can be recorded. Big deal. Your email address can't be collected unless you give it out. In my case I don't configure my email address into my browsers, anyway, but it's really not as if I'm likely to be taking security advice from someone who posts advertisements to Usenet and who thinks that it's a security problem if someone gets your IP address. -- Melinda Shore - Software longa, hardware brevis - The image is Adam Smith. Hi,
I got that e-mail too! Plus I'm glad I didn't use my primary e-mail account when posting on this board. The account I did use has been completely bombarded with all kinds of crank e-mail messages & was overflowing the day after I posted my first message. It is still overflowing too, even though I empty it every day. Anyway, enough ranting off-topic (dog breeds). Pam Rocky wrote in message ... Matt Hogg said in rec.pets.dogs.breeds: 3.
